The purpose of the conference is to discuss topical issues of the formation and development of national scientific and technical information systems, problems of information and analytical support for science and strategically important sectors of the economy and social sphere, the development and implementation of effective methods of data mining, as well as the exchange of experience between relevant scientific, educational and industrial partners.
In the context of increasing technological competition, access to relevant knowledge, technologies and cutting-edge achievements is becoming critically important. Unhindered access and effective use of reliable scientific and technical information determines the ability of countries to stimulate the introduction of technological innovations, increase the effectiveness of research and development, provide effective support for strategic government decision-making and contribute to the formation of the nation's intellectual capital. Thus, the development of the state system of scientific and technical information becomes a priority in the implementation of the country's strategic goals, scientific and technological development and the achievement of national security.
The conference will become a platform for the exchange of experience, strengthening professional ties and developing practical solutions for integrating scientific information into technological development processes aimed at forming an effective management system in the field of science, focused on solving government tasks and meeting the needs of the economy and society.
VINITI RAS invites you to participate in the XII International Scientific Conference "Scientific Information in the Modern World: Information support for technological development", which will be held on October 1-2, 2026 (Usievich St., 20).
The conference is co—organized by the Russian Center for Scientific Information.
It is planned to hold a plenary session and thematic sections at the conference, including a separate youth section for students, postgraduates and young scientists (up to 35 years old).
