Overview scientific and technical information
Scientific and technical aspects of environmental protection
The publication of the journal has been temporarily suspended from No. 1 for 2022.
The pages of this journal mainly publish articles and reviews on waste issues, low-waste and waste-free technologies.
Environmental and natural resource issues
The journal publishes reviews and original papers on a wide range of issues related to the study of environmental systems, including assessing the effects of anthropogenic scenarios for the reconstruction of land cover and changes in hydrological cycles.
The publications consider the tasks of developing and applying methods for numerical modeling of environmental dynamics, and consider key aspects of global ecoinformatics.
The fundamental problems of numerical modeling of the dynamics of the "nature-society" system on a global and regional scale are discussed. The biochemical cycles of chemical elements and, in particular, carbon in connection with the greenhouse effect are considered. Special attention is paid to the analysis of environmental dynamics in the Arctic and its role in global processes, monitoring of gas condensate deposits in marine waters and estuaries, and marine pollution.
Environmental expertise. Overview information
The publication of the journal has been temporarily suspended from No. 1 for 2022.
The journal discusses the tasks of conducting environmental expertise in assessing the consequences of large-scale anthropogenic projects that lead to changes in environmental systems.
The journal publishes materials on environmental audit. Environmental audit, which is widely used in industrialized countries, along with solving problems of reducing environmental risks, exercising citizens' rights to a favorable environment and ensuring environmental safety at the level of individual organizations, industrial complexes and territories, also performs an economic function — it allows enterprises to enter international markets and thereby increase the competitiveness of their products.
A significant amount of information in the journal is devoted to environmental impact assessment, which is the process of identifying, quantifying, and evaluating potential effects associated with planning proposed actions on habitats, species, and ecosystems. These assessments can help the competent authorities to solve environmental problems using more successful methods.
