On June 11, 2026, Sergey Vladimirovich Garbuk, Acting Director of VINITI RAS, and Yuri Valentinovich Lonchakov, Director of the International Center for Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI), signed a cooperation agreement.
The agreement is aimed at developing long-term partnerships in the field of scientific and technical information, information support for scientific research, analytics and expertise.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged information on the activities of their organizations, key areas of work and opportunities for further cooperation. The meeting was also attended by Maria Afanasyevna Penkova, Head of the International Activities Department at VINITI RAS, Olga Valentinovna Belova, Advisor to the Director of the ICSTI, and Elena Mikhailovna Bashkina, Head of the ICSTI Information Resources Department.
VINITI RAS and the ICSTI plan to work out steps for joint work in the framework of analytical and expert work, research, organization of international events, exchange of experience, promotion of the VINITI RAS abstract database, specialized products and services.
